Put decades of experience to work for your horse…

Tony and Peggy Costanzo have been active in the Thoroughbred business since 1973. Tony started riding as a child and competed in gymkhana events before getting into racehorses in his early teens. Hailing from a family with a serious horse background, Peggy owned and showed hunter/jumpers and three-gaited horses. She obtained a degree in business administration and equine science before getting her trainer’s license, and training on the Midwest circuit for nearly a decade.

The Costanzos operated their own training center in Illinois for 18 years before relocating to the more climate-friendly horse mecca of Ocala, Florida, in 2000, where they named their farm, Samerin Oaks, after their son and daughter, Sam and Erin.

The Costanzos’ extensive horse background and longtime experience with starting young horses and training racehorses appeal to owners looking for a facility where the horse comes first.
